（中央社記者黃兆平紐約14日專電）傳聞是美國總統當選人川普屬意的國務卿人選、前紐約市長朱利安尼今天指出，擊潰伊斯蘭國（IS）將是川普上任之初首要關注議題，遠高過中東及其他區域等令人頭疼問題。
在「華爾街日報」與執行長會議（WSJ CEOCouncil）裡，這位被喻為「911恐怖攻擊英雄」多次提及，對出掌外交重任的國務卿職務遠比當司法部長更有興趣。
華爾街日報稍早披露，朱利安尼（Rudy Giuliani）與前美駐聯合國大使波頓（John Bolton）都是川普的國務卿口袋人選，其中又以朱利安尼可能性最高，取代原先外界預測的前聯邦眾議院議長金瑞契（NewtGingrich）。
朱利安尼告訴華爾街日報，「我相信，短期而言，IS是最大的危險，並不是因為他們在伊拉克及敘利亞，而是IS做了激進組織蓋達（Al-Qaeda）從未做過的事，它能將自身散播到世界各地」。
不過，朱利安尼並未透露川普政府將如何處理及摧毀伊斯蘭國的實際做法。川普之前曾說，將把擊潰IS視為最高戰略秘密，讓其無從準備。
訪談裡，朱利安尼還透露，川普陣營將重新設定美與中國大陸、俄羅斯的關係。歐巴馬政府已將俄羅斯視為敵對國，而川普今天曾與俄羅斯總統蒲亭（VladimirPutin）通過電話，雙方承諾在某些議題進行合作。
談及美中關係，朱利安尼說，川普陣營傾向與中國大陸就經濟議題進行交往，諸如貿易等，而川普可能在就任之初將大陸貼上「匯率操縱國」（currencymanipulator）標籤。不少專家認為此舉可能加劇美中雙邊緊張關係。1051115
